Would you like to raise the bar on journalism?

Richard Viguerie, a founder of the modern conservative movement, wrote in his book, America’s Right Turn, that conservatives have harnessed the power of new and alternative media, making great strides in talk radio, cable news, and on the Internet. He acknowledges, however, that the liberal media, including the broadcasting networks and major liberal papers, still largely set the national agenda.

We would like to raise the bar on journalism and we believe COMPETITION IS THE KEY!

Did the Dan Rather episode get you hot under the collar? Are you tired of the bias in mainstream media? Would like to see news with integrity, based on facts minus the liberal agenda?

Here is your chance to raise the bar on journalism. We have two options for you. One is our Fox News Petition and the second is the Citizen USA Newspaper.

FOX NEWS PETITION

In October a letter and petition was sent to the Network/Affiliate Liaison at Fox News. The letter outlined our concerns for the lack of credibility in the main stream media, and detailed our suggested solution.

The petition requested that Fox News air a morning News Show and an evening news program on the local affiliates across the country. The other major networks already do this with programming such as Good Morning America, The Today Show, ABC Evening News, etc.

The petition received a great deal of attention from Fox News executives including Roger Ailes himself. However, Fox News determined that it is not feasible to produce such programming until the Fox Network in Los Angles, CA and the local affiliates across the country subscribe the idea.

We as America's TV Viewers, therefore, need to convince the Fox Network in LA and the local affiliates across the country that we want this programming. So, HFA has begun circulating a petition showing our support of such programming.

Our goal is 5000 signatures per state. This would surely convince Fox Network and their affiliates that there IS a market for such programming. Once we have met our goal, we will send a letter with the petition of names to the Fox Network in LA and their affiliates.

We are convinced when the other networks have competition, not just on cable, but in the general market, we will raise the bar on journalism. We will give people another choice and allow the market to decide.
